HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

POCAHONTAS &

MADDY THE PUMPKIN!

TRIP TO CORPUS CHRISTI!!

WELL....we have four weeks (give or take a few) left in our house here in Jacksonville! I can't believe it, it makes me sad just to think about it! We spent Jeremy's pre-deployment leave in Corpus trying to find a house. We weren't sure whether we wanted to rent or to buy. Unfortunately, we came home without making a final decision. Oh well, we will figure it out!

We had so much fun. I got to spend my birthday weekend with my family! Something I had not been able to do in 3 years! We had a blast. It was one of the best weekends of my life! On Thursday night the 21, my brother and Lauren got Jeremy and me third row seats to Gary Allen and VIP passes to Josh Abbott after the show, free food and drinks!!! Then Friday night, Brittany and Jacob got us a booth at the Reserve and some awesome friends came out to celebrate with us! Saturday (my actual birthday) Jeremy and Bella surprised me with breakfast! So yummy. We then went to Brielle Vasquez' birthday party where Liz was kind enough to sing happy birthday to me! We then headed out to the AB center to watch the Ice Ray Hockey game from an owners booth, complete with beer and food courtesy of Mom and Dad. It was an amazing day! Sunday was spent visiting family! Boy had we missed them! My aunts had a special, delicious lunch and Ice Cream Cake waiting for me at my Wela's and my Grandma had a cake and some yummy snacks at her house. The rest of the time in Corpus we just looked at houses and more houses, and Bella spent some time at Grandma's school where she met her new classmates she will be joining in January! It was a great trip!

Bella's First day of Learning Ladders and Maddy's first Gymnastics class!!

Wednesday Sept. 8 was a big day for the girls and for mommy and daddy! We woke up bright and early and got ready for Bella's first day of school and for Maddy's
first gymnastics class! Here is a picture of Bell
before school started:

Bella had a blast. As you can tell from her video how ready she was and how I needed to leave whenever she got there. I got a good report from her teacher that she was very polite and verbally beyond her years. She had fun. She colored a picture, painted a picture and reviewed her letters and numbers. She requested a PB&J sandwich for lunch and some carrots with Ranch dressing--interesting combination but she did eat it all so I can't complain. She is looking forward to going back and seeing Mrs. Debbie and Ms. Melissa Monday morning!

Maddy and I then headed to have coffee with some friends and then straight to worlds gym for the mom&tot gym class. I used to take Bella there with me all the time, but this was a first for Maddy and me. It sure was a challenge. She was not into doing things along with the group. She liked to do her own thing at her own pace and if I tried to move her she would fall to the ground and have a bit of a fuss. So, as long as I let her do her own routine she was fine! I swear I don't know what do with this baby sometimes! She has a mind of her own! We had fun though, it was nice for it to just be me and Maddy for a bit. Here is a couple of pictures of her when she was cooperating!

Below are two videos of the girls on their exciting days!

Catching Up!

You know, when I started this Blog I thought I would be much better about updating it than I have been! We have had a great past few months. Jeremy left to Hawaii for a six week rimpac adventure in late June. He missed Maddy's birthday, but we had a big bash to celebrate her birthday with daddy before he left. My mom came out mid-june to spend time with all of us, be here for maddy's first birthday and birthday party, and to help me out once Jeremy left. Thanks Mom, You're amazing! Here are a few pictures from Maddy's first birthday party:

I got to go out to Hawaii to join jer in Mid August for a week, and we had so much fun. We swam with dolphins, hiked to a waterfall, kissed in a cave in the middle of the ocean, just to name a few highlights! Don't get me wrong being a Navy Wife is hard work, but it does have it's special moments! Here we are sharing an amazing moment at Maunawili Falls in Hawaii! It was our first vacation away from the girls. We missed them but it was so nice just to hang out with some of our best buddies and to be with each other most importantly!

The girls are doing great! Bella is gearing up for her second year at learning ladders! She has moved up to the two year old class and will be going Monday's and Wednesday's. She is so excited and such a smart kid! I don't think I can say that enough about that little one! Maddy is one! July 13th we celebrated her first year of birth! She is a walking, talking, and especially climbing machine! I can't believe how fast time flies! Here is Maddy:

Here is Bella getting her first manicure :
Jeremy started his journey home from Hawaii at the end of July. Boy was that journey home insane! The plane broke down in San Diego, which was actually nice for Jer so that he could see his parents and Jason, Nicole and Kylie. He was really excited to see them, it had been months since we were there last. Here is a picture of Uncle J and Kylie early in the morning for the first time since January:
He FINALLY made it home after a crazy week with 20 minutes left to spare on August 2, along with Pam and Rayner! We were so happy that they were finally able to make it out! They stayed here with us for two weeks and left on the 16th on a C-130 to Washington to try and get back to good ol' SoCal! The girls really enjoyed their stay, we all did. We are planning our next trip out to Mission Viejo in October so we can spend some much needed quality time with Pam, Ray, Jason, Nicole and my cute and only little niece Kylie. HELLO AGAIN!

WOW! It sure has been a bit of a time since I have updated our family Blog. We are all doing very well! The girls and I were on a MONTH long vacation in Corpus Christi and have been home about two weeks now... finally settled in again!

Jeremy and I are doing well and very blessed. We sure did miss each other while the girls and i were gone but he was able to come down to Corpus twice and spend some time with us. We had an amazing easter with my family! Jeremy's mom Pam was able to join us and it was sooo nice to have her there. I always feel bad that the girls don't get to be with their grandparents often. Jeremy recently went to a CRHP retreat and loved it! I am so proud of him. I have just been trying to hold down the fort, loving my life and the people in it!

Bella is doing awesome. Growing so fast and super smart. She loves school, is a ham, and has tons of friends that she just can't get enough of.

Maddy is ALMOST walking. She is definitely a cruiser. She loves to jibber jabber, wave and say HI to everyone she sees.

Today we had a family photo session/ Maddy's nine months photo shoot. Maddy was not so willing to cooperate but Bella sure was. Krista Artis (photographer) did an AMAZING job and we can't wait to see the end result. These pictures are just a sneak peek to an amazing photo session.

Until Next Time,
Becca

Remember the Day..March 2nd--Maddy started to CRAWL!

MADDY IS AN OFFICIAL CRAWLING MACHINE!!

Today when Jeremy came home from work, he kneeled down next to her and held out his arms and she just decided that today, on Uncle Jason's birthday, was the day to crawl and took OFF! Daddy was so proud! He is such a good daddy! So we got a video of her crawling for everyone to see since we are so far away from our family! Notice Bella and Daddy are encouraging her the entire time...Daddy, Mommy and Big Sissy were very proud of baby Maddy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JASON!

ENJOY!!
