HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

POCAHONTAS &

MADDY THE PUMPKIN!

TRIP TO CORPUS CHRISTI!!

WELL....we have four weeks (give or take a few) left in our house here in Jacksonville! I can't believe it, it makes me sad just to think about it! We spent Jeremy's pre-deployment leave in Corpus trying to find a house. We weren't sure whether we wanted to rent or to buy. Unfortunately, we came home without making a final decision. Oh well, we will figure it out!

We had so much fun. I got to spend my birthday weekend with my family! Something I had not been able to do in 3 years! We had a blast. It was one of the best weekends of my life! On Thursday night the 21, my brother and Lauren got Jeremy and me third row seats to Gary Allen and VIP passes to Josh Abbott after the show, free food and drinks!!! Then Friday night, Brittany and Jacob got us a booth at the Reserve and some awesome friends came out to celebrate with us! Saturday (my actual birthday) Jeremy and Bella surprised me with breakfast! So yummy. We then went to Brielle Vasquez' birthday party where Liz was kind enough to sing happy birthday to me! We then headed out to the AB center to watch the Ice Ray Hockey game from an owners booth, complete with beer and food courtesy of Mom and Dad. It was an amazing day! Sunday was spent visiting family! Boy had we missed them! My aunts had a special, delicious lunch and Ice Cream Cake waiting for me at my Wela's and my Grandma had a cake and some yummy snacks at her house. The rest of the time in Corpus we just looked at houses and more houses, and Bella spent some time at Grandma's school where she met her new classmates she will be joining in January! It was a great trip!

Bella's First day of Learning Ladders and Maddy's first Gymnastics class!!

Wednesday Sept. 8 was a big day for the girls and for mommy and daddy! We woke up bright and early and got ready for Bella's first day of school and for Maddy's
first gymnastics class! Here is a picture of Bell
before school started:

Bella had a blast. As you can tell from her video how ready she was and how I needed to leave whenever she got there. I got a good report from her teacher that she was very polite and verbally beyond her years. She had fun. She colored a picture, painted a picture and reviewed her letters and numbers. She requested a PB&J sandwich for lunch and some carrots with Ranch dressing--interesting combination but she did eat it all so I can't complain. She is looking forward to going back and seeing Mrs. Debbie and Ms. Melissa Monday morning!

Maddy and I then headed to have coffee with some friends and then straight to worlds gym for the mom&tot gym class. I used to take Bella there with me all the time, but this was a first for Maddy and me. It sure was a challenge. She was not into doing things along with the group. She liked to do her own thing at her own pace and if I tried to move her she would fall to the ground and have a bit of a fuss. So, as long as I let her do her own routine she was fine! I swear I don't know what do with this baby sometimes! She has a mind of her own! We had fun though, it was nice for it to just be me and Maddy for a bit. Here is a couple of pictures of her when she was cooperating!

Below are two videos of the girls on their exciting days!

Catching Up!

You know, when I started this Blog I thought I would be much better about updating it than I have been! We have had a great past few months. Jeremy left to Hawaii for a six week rimpac adventure in late June. He missed Maddy's birthday, but we had a big bash to celebrate her birthday with daddy before he left. My mom came out mid-june to spend time with all of us, be here for maddy's first birthday and birthday party, and to help me out once Jeremy left. Thanks Mom, You're amazing! Here are a few pictures from Maddy's first birthday party:

I got to go out to Hawaii to join jer in Mid August for a week, and we had so much fun. We swam with dolphins, hiked to a waterfall, kissed in a cave in the middle of the ocean, just to name a few highlights! Don't get me wrong being a Navy Wife is hard work, but it does have it's special moments! Here we are sharing an amazing moment at Maunawili Falls in Hawaii! It was our first vacation away from the girls. We missed them but it was so nice just to hang out with some of our best buddies and to be with each other most importantly!

The girls are doing great! Bella is gearing up for her second year at learning ladders! She has moved up to the two year old class and will be going Monday's and Wednesday's. She is so excited and such a smart kid! I don't think I can say that enough about that little one! Maddy is one! July 13th we celebrated her first year of birth! She is a walking, talking, and especially climbing machine! I can't believe how fast time flies! Here is Maddy:

Here is Bella getting her first manicure :
Jeremy started his journey home from Hawaii at the end of July. Boy was that journey home insane! The plane broke down in San Diego, which was actually nice for Jer so that he could see his parents and Jason, Nicole and Kylie. He was really excited to see them, it had been months since we were there last. Here is a picture of Uncle J and Kylie early in the morning for the first time since January:
He FINALLY made it home after a crazy week with 20 minutes left to spare on August 2, along with Pam and Rayner! We were so happy that they were finally able to make it out! They stayed here with us for two weeks and left on the 16th on a C-130 to Washington to try and get back to good ol' SoCal! The girls really enjoyed their stay, we all did. We are planning our next trip out to Mission Viejo in October so we can spend some much needed quality time with Pam, Ray, Jason, Nicole and my cute and only little niece Kylie. HELLO AGAIN!

WOW! It sure has been a bit of a time since I have updated our family Blog. We are all doing very well! The girls and I were on a MONTH long vacation in Corpus Christi and have been home about two weeks now... finally settled in again!

Jeremy and I are doing well and very blessed. We sure did miss each other while the girls and i were gone but he was able to come down to Corpus twice and spend some time with us. We had an amazing easter with my family! Jeremy's mom Pam was able to join us and it was sooo nice to have her there. I always feel bad that the girls don't get to be with their grandparents often. Jeremy recently went to a CRHP retreat and loved it! I am so proud of him. I have just been trying to hold down the fort, loving my life and the people in it!

Bella is doing awesome. Growing so fast and super smart. She loves school, is a ham, and has tons of friends that she just can't get enough of.

Maddy is ALMOST walking. She is definitely a cruiser. She loves to jibber jabber, wave and say HI to everyone she sees.

Today we had a family photo session/ Maddy's nine months photo shoot. Maddy was not so willing to cooperate but Bella sure was. Krista Artis (photographer) did an AMAZING job and we can't wait to see the end result. These pictures are just a sneak peek to an amazing photo session.

Until Next Time,
Becca

Remember the Day..March 2nd--Maddy started to CRAWL!

MADDY IS AN OFFICIAL CRAWLING MACHINE!!

Today when Jeremy came home from work, he kneeled down next to her and held out his arms and she just decided that today, on Uncle Jason's birthday, was the day to crawl and took OFF! Daddy was so proud! He is such a good daddy! So we got a video of her crawling for everyone to see since we are so far away from our family! Notice Bella and Daddy are encouraging her the entire time...Daddy, Mommy and Big Sissy were very proud of baby Maddy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JASON!

ENJOY!!

Maddy's first Gym Class

Hello Everyone!

Last Friday while Bella was in school I decided that it was time that I took Maddy to My Gym just like Bella did when she was her age. She loved it!! I was so happy--I think it was because she is never really with anyone her own age..she always has to hang around with those BIG kids! HaHa the thought of Bella as being a BIG kid to Maddy makes me laugh.

Here are few pictures and a video of how much fun she had during her very first My Gym class with Coach Mike and Coach Jordan!

In the picture above she is playing with a red ball (she likes to color coordinate her accessories to match her outfits) and she realizes that she is not in there alone and right after this took a dive into the balls and I had to save her so she wouldn't get lost! lol

In the picture below she is standing all on her own in the middle of a huge donut! She was so proud of herself!
In the video Coach Mike is helping Maddy do a Headstand..she is not to excited about it but does a good job! Yayy Maddy!

FEBRUARY UPDATE

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY!!!

WELL IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE UPDATED OUR BLOG..EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GOING GOOD! MADDY IS ALREADY 7 MONTHS OLD, AND BELLA 27 MONTHS! THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN. IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH THEY INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER AND LOVE EACH OTHER'S COMPANY NOW. EVEN ON MY WORST DAYS, THOSE TWO MAKE ME SMILE. THEY CONSTANTLY REMIND ME HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS AND HOW GREAT THE GOOD LORD IS FOR BLESSING JEREMY AND ME WITH TWO OF THE CUTEST KIDDOS IN THE WORLD! (BIASED OR WHAT?!?)

MADDY IS NOT QUITE CRAWLING YET BUT BOY DOES SHE WANT TO. SHE HAS TWO LITTLE SPIKES (TEETH) THAT LOOK SO CUTE! SHE AND I HAVE REALLY BEEN ENJOYING OUR TIME TOGETHER WHEN BIG SISTER BELLA HEADS TO SCHOOL EVERY FRIDAY MORNING. IT IS GOOD TO JUST HAVE SOME ONE ON ONE TIME WITH MY BABY! SHE SURE IS A NOISY ONE. SHE HAS A PERSONALITY LIKE I CAN'T BELIEVE. SHE LET'S YOU KNOW WHAT SHE WANTS WHEN SHE WANTS IT! BOY AM I IN FOR IT!
HERE SHE IS:
BELLA, WELL WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT BELLA. SHE IS AMAZING, SMART AND SUCH A GOOD HEARTED/NATURED INDIVIDUAL. SHE LOVES TO SING AND DANCE. NO MATTER WHERE SHE IS IF SHE HEARS MUSIC SHE HAS TO GET UP AND DANCE! SHE IS DOING VERY WELL IN SCHOOL AS WELL. EVERY TIME SHE GETS OUT OF CLASS SHE KNOWS A NEW SONG. SHE IS STARTING TO UNDERSTAND MORE THINGS THAN I THINK SHE IS CAPABLE OF. TODAY, AS SHE AND I WERE WATCHING LION KING, SHE SAID, "MOMMY THAT IS A BAAADD LION!' AND I SAID, "WHY DO YOU SAY THAT BELLA?" AND SHE RESPONDED WITH..."BECAUSE HE LOOKS SCAAARRYY! LIKE ROOOAARRR!!' I WAS SO PROUD THAT SHE WAS ABLE TO PICK OUT THE VILIAN BY JUST DARK COLORS AND A CREEPY DEMEANOR.
HERE SHE IS:
JEREMY AND I ARE DOING OK. WE APPRECIATE OUR TIME TOGETHER WHEN WE CAN GET IT AND HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING A MORE INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND THE CHURCH. I KNOW THAT WE SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT A LONG TIME AGO, BUT DESPITE THAT FACT WE ARE DOING IT NOW AND IT HAS BEEN A REALLY GOOD CHANGE FOR US. A CHANGE THAT WE BOTH NEEDED SPIRITUALLY.

WE HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL AND LOOK FORWARD TO UPDATING MORE JUICY DETAILS OF THE TAYLOR'S EVERYDAY CHAOTIC LIFE!

UNTIL THEN..

California Vacation!!!

Well the girls, Jeremy and I went on a great and fun trip out to Mission Viejo, CA. I was a little hesitant to get on the plane with two children...but needless to say they did amazing! We did have kind of a funny moment though: Maddy decided just minutes after the pilot brought the seat belt sign back on and announced that we were in our final decent, that she was going to have the biggest "DIRTY" diaper I think ANYONE has seen! I wasn't sure what it was at first, but our friends Rob and Heather flew with us and Heather kept saying, "ugh, what is that smell?!?" LOL low and behold it was Maddy. At that point there was nothing that I could do because they would not let me get up. It was EVERYWHERE...EVERYWHERE I think that, that is the only thing that I can say. Here are a couple of clips from the airplane...enjoy!!

California was a whole lot of fun! We got to finally meet the very adorable, Kylie Elizabeth Taylor! She is Jason (Jer's brother) and Nicole's baby girl that was born in November. She is so petite and cute compared to my cute chunkers! I loved it! When we got there we spent the whole first day with Jason, Nicole and Kylie. It was really great to catch up and to have my parents there with us for the first time. It only took me nearly four years to get them up there!

The next Morning we headed up to Big Bear Mountain. After a long, 4 hour drive up there (due to traffic) we settled in and took my parents out to see the cute town. They were very impressed. If you have never been there, I recommend going. It's so cute and cold and smells like burning firewood. It's amazing in my opinion. After loads of shopping and a million pictures and a great dinner, we went back to the room and stayed up late drinking margaritas and playing cards...aww I had missed those days!

The next day we were there, Jeremy and I went snowboarding. Man did it hurt! It was so much fun though! I "FEEL" like I did rather well but then again that encouragement and complimenting was coming from my ever supportive, amazing hubby so...??

We ended up leaving the mountain on new year's eve because we wanted to spend it with Jer's mom and brother rather than be away from them. We got back and spent a few hours at Jason's and then rang in the new year at the Taylor house with my parents, Pam and Ray, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Mike, and Taco Bell the cutest dog ever! On the 2nd of January my parents short-visit came to an end! They hopped on a plane at John Wayne and flew home to good ole' Texas...not before we hit up beautiful Laguna Beach of Course!

Our last couple of days we really just hung out with everyone and enjoyed all three girls and just hanging out with Jeremy's family. Pam was even kind enough to organize a little party for everyone to stop by and see all three grandkids. It was so nice for everyone to get to meet Maddy and Kylie and nice for everyone to see how much Isabella has grown to become a little girl. I was anxious to see everyone again. I can never get enough of Joyce and Mark (Nicole's parents) or Mike and Heather (cousins) just to name a few. I was so happy and thankful that everyone did make the special trip to Pam's to see the girls, it really meant a lot to us! After the party, Bonnie, d'Ann, Pam, Me, Mike and Heather headed out to see NEW MOON! They all loved it which I knew they would!

On Jan. 6th however, we did get to go to "THE PRICE IS RIGHT" We had a blast. Rayner, Aunt Dee, Jeremy and I went and stood in-line from 3am until 6am waiting to get a ticket into the show! We Got In, we didn't get called up but we got to see the show and it was awesome! It was a heck of a lot of waiting though! Thank goodness Aunt d'Ann was there to keep me enthused! It is definitely something that I know we would want to do again and again! The next day, we had to leave. It was sad I don't think any of us were ready to leave. We had such a great time catching up and hanging out with everyone! We miss all of you deeply and can't wait to see you guys soon!

I have attached a short video at the bottom of Bella and Maddy sledding up in Big Bear! Happy 2010~ Becca
